Terms Entered in Search Tools
A name, county, or other detail entered into a search box is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. Redwood County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider’s separate rules apply to the query once it is sent.
Messages Sent to Us
If you send an email or use an available contact form, we retain the message and contact details as needed to read and answer it. We do not share that correspondence outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Routine web technology may create technical logs when a page loads. Those logs can contain:
- The visitor’s Internet Protocol address.
- The browser name and version in use.
- The device type and operating system.
- Pages viewed and approximate time spent on them.
- The referring website, when one is supplied.
- The date and time of the request.

Visitors Under Eighteen
This site is meant for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted personal data may contact us and request its deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and the limits of what we hold, a visitor may:
- Ask for a copy of personal data maintained about them.
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Ask for deletion of eligible personal data.

These requests apply to information controlled by this site. Requests to inspect or correct an official Redwood County record must go to the agency that maintains it under Minnesota law.
